Recycled water is of optimal quality: tailings produced by the concentrator plant are treated by the precipitation of metals and sedimentation of solids methods and then recycled for agricultural and livestock use.

We carry out daily checks to guarantee the quality of recycled water.  There are 7 monitoring points for water quality and a rigorous environmental monitoring system ISO 14001 certified.

In addition, we operate a participatory environmental monitoring system, allowing the communities to oversee compliance of with the environmental commitments of our San Rafael mining unit.
