The MINSUR S.A. Smelter and Refinery is a company certified under the international standard ISO 14001:2004 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT. The rigorous commitment to the environment and the legislation that it entails, is monitored by environmental management plans and performance indicators, a system of environmental regulation and meteorological observatory, and monitoring equipment to control emissions installed in the main chimney.
